Showers for visitors to use up at the wool shed
This was the end of the day trip and we setup our camp by the river for the night.
It was interesting in that there was hardly any noise coming out of the area. A river lizard made his way down the branch to the water.
At 6pm Leonard and I made our way to the Homestead.
Kim gave a a guided tour of the main house. We met her daughter Kodie and Rob the farm maintence manager.
The homestead in it day had 15 bedrooms, servent area and the main house.
the house lost the back area to a fire in 1930s.
I was able to give to Kim some photos showing my fathers family, buildings in which they lived and horses being trained for mustering on the farm.
Also there was the flooding of the Darling River of the farm in the 1950s too, taken via aircraft
Leonard and I enjoyed our short stay there.
