Memories left to Yowee

Leonard and I set off around 9am on the 9th April heading for Lightning Ridge in NSW from Deagon.
We need to get those last minute supplies and fuel.
A little worried about the weather and flooding in the direction we were heading near Dalby with Condimine River.
We arrive in Lighting Ridge after 6pm to collect a key for entry.

We took the opportunity for a break and have a snack.
The service center across the road had some great murrials of Pigs on the walls

Leonard and I were intending to have a meal there, but by the time we arrived we missed out so we wet our lips,
bought a sticker and headed on. This was also the site were the movie "Paperback Hero" was filmed

We arrived late to the camping area but they left a code out for us to gain entrance.
Leonard set up the swags, gave me assistance and we prepared tea. "Great start"
