The ANZ Stadium was used for the Commonwealth Games in Brisabane in 1982. The stadium is located in the Queen Elizabeth 2 Jubilee Sports Centre.

Today it is used for a combination of events those being athletic track and field, live rock bands and the paddock for the Bronco ARL club in Brisbane. Later this year (2001) Brisbane will be hosting the Goodwill Games.
