AAP staff work from the press office, located on the third floor District Magistrate Court complex on George St. Staff use the "Rebus" or "newsroom" software packages for filing stories and Newstrack to keep track of the latest stories.

The office is very spacial and well appointed. Audio links are available in the rooms. The staff have at their disposal a PC (Internet, Rebus 2.1, Newtrack) and a fax.

The press rooms are located next Hansard copytakers and gallery of the Queensland Parliamentary chamber. Upon entering the Media Rooms the AAP allocated area is to you right, through partitioned doorway.
The cubical area
The hertiage listing of the build make its difficult for staff there. AAP is allocated two cubicals with wooden roller shutters, designed for when the reporters used telephone and type writers.

AAP editorial staff have a PC sitting inside these cubicals. The PCs are running Rebus ver 2.1 and Newstrack.
