- I’d like you know how much I have appreciated how well you’ve embraced our move into news video. Progress in the past couple of months especially has been fantastic.
- From discussions in the daily morning news conference to the results on the AAP video website it’s plain to see that news video to accompany words and images is now a very natural and logical part of what we do.
- The adaptability and will of AAP journalists and photographers doesn’t surprise me but never ceases to amaze me. We’ve just completed another round of multi-media training this week and as we reflect on the progress, it’s clear that you are becoming more confident. And there’s great innovation too.
- The daily video commentary and analysis by Darren Walton, John Salvado and Ben Sutton at the Australian Tennis Open shows we have great talent in front of the camera.
- But the bulk of what we do is behind it and you’re producing some top work. If you haven’t had a good look around the video website, I do encourage you to browse.
