Sad day in the AAP world.

It was with regrets to hear of the loss of Mr Dinh Pham on Wednesday 21st , a well known AAP staffer from Sydney.
Mr Pham was the Manager of the Reuters Office in South Vietnam and continue in the office after the fall of South Vietnam. Mr Dinh was able to get his first family out of Vietnam to U.S.A..
Mr Pham stayed some years in Vietnam to be repatiated to Australia in 1980's. He has been with AAP since then. I worked with Mr Dinh in Sydney and was well known for his Dinh's english, and his driving of the company van about Sydney.
Mr Dinh re-married again and has been a good father to Australian children. The Staff at AAP will miss him greatly.
